Light Regional Council elects 1 Mayor and 9 Councillors.
The Mayor represents the community as a whole and leads the councillors in ensuring our region is a great place to live, work and play.
The Council is divided up to 3 Wards. Each ward has 3 ward councillors who are the key contact for community members living in each ward to give everyone an opportunity to have their voice heard.
The Wards as shown below, are the Light Ward, Dutton Ward, and Mudla Wirra Ward.
