Light Region, named in honour of Colonel William Light, the first Surveyor-General of South Australia is situated only an hour's drive from Adelaide.
Nestled between the Clare and Barossa wine valley's, Light is a region rich in heritage and the history of pioneering endeavour; abundant in agricultural diversity and spectacular landscapes; intriguing in artistic and cultural character, and enticing in food and wine experiences.
