The Kapunda Visitor Information Centre is located in the heart of Australia's oldest mining town. Hosted in a heritage building, alongside the Library, the Visitor Information Centre is part of a newly renovated visitor hub in the award-winning Thomson building.
The friendly staff can assist visitors with local and regional queries. The centre is renowned for its extensive range of tourism brochures and also offers visitors the chance to buy Australian books and souvenirs. A family history resource centre and free Internet are also available to visitors.
While in the Visitor Centre explore the 'Taste of the Region' interpretive display in the basement and the 'Kidman Exhibition' on the first floor.
