Kangaroo Flat is a locality northwest of Gawler. It is on the Gawler to Mallala road in the vicinity of the turnoff to Roseworthy College and Wasleys. The locality used to have a school which opened 1902, however it later closed in 1970, A Methodist church and a debating club were also in the area, but have since closed.
