Event Organiser’s Guidelines & Application Forms

Organising safe, accessible, inclusive events and festivals

Light Regional Council recognises and values the important role that events and festivals play in the life and vitality of the region. Anyone planning to host an event or set-up a temporary stall on a public street, footpath, open space or property under the care and control of Light Regional Council must complete an Event Application form. To apply for an Event Permit, please return the Event Application form and other requested documents (including Public Liability Insurance certificate of currency) to Light Regional Council PO Box 72 KAPUNDA 5373 or Kapunda or Freeling Offices.

Please ensure you have read the Event Management Handbook and are aware of all the requirements and conditions before submitting an Event Application for Council’s consideration.

If you require further assistance, contact the Community Development Officer on telephone 8525 3200 or email to arrange a pre-lodgement discussion.
