The Flood Awareness Map on the State Government’s WaterConnect website has been designed to assist the public with learning about their flood risk. In partnership with the Stormwater Management Authority and the Natural Resources Management Board, Council has recently completed several flood awareness maps for some of its major townships and the Gawler River. These maps have been uploaded to the WaterConnect website, which also contains Frequently Asked Questions about flood that can assist with explaining the flood awareness maps further.
