Normal collection days will resume the following week.

What Do I Need to do Before Collection Day?

  • Place your bins out the night before
  • Lids must open towards the road
  • Bins must be placed 50cm apart

What Should I do if My Bin/s Not Collected?

Is the bin a Solo Bin? If the bin was not provided by Solo then it will not be emptied.

Each bin has a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chip, which is embedded in the bin which identifies the property that the service is provided to and acknowledges servicing of bins.

If the bin is not emptied it may be because:

  • It was not presented: It is important that bins be put out prior to 7am on your collection day.
  • The bin is too heavy: There is a 75kg weight limit for all bins.
  • There is a problem with the bin contents: Contents must be placed in the bin correctly and not jammed in.

How Do I Know What Bins Will Be Collected?
