Home Assist is for those people who either cannot manage, or have no one living with them or nearby, to do their necessary chores. An assessment is made to determine the applicant's eligibility under criteria set by the Commonwealth Government who fund the Home and Community Care program. Funding is limited, so priority is given to those most in need.
